Our Story
Our mission goes beyond commerce; we are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of people with special needs, both locally and globally.

Our
Vision
At Spectrum Stories, we envision a world where everyone, regardless of their abilities, can express their creativity and be recognized for their talents.
We believe in the power of art to inspire, connect, and uplift communities.

Our
Artists
Suwon, a 25-year-old artist with autism, has a gift for transforming his unique perspective into captivating works of art. With a passion for animals and animation, Suwon discovered drawing in middle school as a means to communicate his inner world, creating portraits and illustrations that resonate deeply with viewers. Each stroke reflects his commitment to capturing life’s beauty and subtle emotions—especially in the charming way he portrays animals, bringing their spirit to life on paper.

Our
Neighbor
Yo-Jo Center for people with Special Needs in Laos
The Yo-Jo Center for people with special needs in Laos was started by a backpacking couple who noticed that people with disabilities had no access to education. The center works to change this by providing education, meals, and support, helping those with disabilities leave isolation and thrive. Spectrum Stories and Suwon are donating 10% of proceeds to help the center buy a vehicle so they can transport individuals to and from the center.

How it began
Spectrum Stories started with Sojin, a special education teacher with a heart for supporting dreams. After meeting Suwon, one of her student and an artist with a gift for creating joy through his art, Sojin felt inspired to build a space where his talent—and the talents of other autistic artists—could shine.
Drawing on her experience from Kenya, South Korea, and the U.S., Sojin created Spectrum Stories as a way to celebrate unique voices in art and spread happiness through creativity.
